This warehouse is unlike any other and the minute your freight hits our dock, you will see that for yourself. We offer a very personalized service here, adapted to each customer’s requirements. We store food grade, pharmaceuticals, nutritional / herbal supplements, flavors, fragrances, and hazardous materials. Presidential has recently been authorized thru the ABC to store and transport alcohol. Our warehouse staff is very knowledgeable of our operation as over 50% of our warehouse employees have been with Presidential for over 10 years. Presidential Express is ASI certified and CT-PAT authorized. We take security and GMP policies very seriously.

Location

Presidential is in a prime location for the metropolitan area with direct access to Route 440, one mile from the NJ Turnpike and Newark Airport. Presidential is close to NJ and NY Piers, bridge crossings, NJ Ports, and Newark Liberty Airport. Our location is 200,000 sq ft with 38′ ceilings, 22 dock doors with dock levelers and bumpers and 1 ramp for small vehicle access. We have private rail side access for quick and easy unloading of rail cars, our perimeter is secured by a high security fence along with cameras on the interior and exterior of building.

System Features

Our entire warehouse program, including inventory & transactions per lot/item#, pending orders, and open invoices, can be accessed from the internet via password for each of our warehouse customers. Our customized computer program allows us to retain information on each product that is brought into the warehouse; it can be tracked by name of product, batch #, date of receipt, transaction history or location in warehouse. Our system provides monthly statements of inventory flow by product name and lot numbers. We also provide a second report which details each product along with the customer name and amount that each order shipped.

Communication Details

We process all paperwork in a very timely manner and communication with our customers is very important to us. We realize that we are your eyes and ears, and we take that very seriously. All inbounds are emailed within 1-2 hours after receipt of freight. If there are any damages present, a phone call is immediately made to our customer as well as pictures emailed, to see if the freight is ok to accept. Once material is taken in house, each pallet is given a label by Presidential Express clearly showing the customers name, product name, quantity per skid, weight and batch #. This is to clearly identify all freight that is stored in the warehouse. When freight is taken in the seal # is noted, and an inspection is done to ensure that no damages are present before putting away for storage in warehouse. All outbounds/bills of lading are faxed/emailed that same day. Customers have until 12pm to release material for the same day at no additional charge via outside carrier. If shipping via Presidential Express, we are able to extend that time period until 2pm, because our trucks are loaded after warehouse hours for the next day. We also ensure that carriers sign for piece and pallet count, c of a’s and packing lists, and customs documents (if applicable).
